Welcome to DTC Bus Services (the "App"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the App and its related services. By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

The App provides information about Delhi bus routes and stops, journey planning, and real-time bus tracking based on publicly available data. It is a free informational and utility tool for commuters.

2. Not an official service

DTC Bus Services is an independent application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) or the Government of NCT of Delhi. Live bus positions are derived from the publicly available Delhi Open Transit Data feed. The App does not sell bus tickets or passes and is not responsible for any bus service, fare, schedule or operation.

3. Accuracy of information

We work to show accurate and up-to-date route, stop and live-tracking information. However, this data comes from third-party and government sources and may be delayed, incomplete, interrupted or inaccurate. Live bus positions, arrival times and routes are provided on an "as is" basis for guidance only and should not be relied upon as a guarantee. Always use your own judgement and allow extra time for your journey.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the App or its servers.
  • Copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the App's data or content without permission.
  • Use the App in a way that infringes the rights of others or any applicable law.

5. Permissions and your device

Some features require device permissions such as location and notifications. You are responsible for managing these permissions and for the security of the device on which the App is installed. Standard mobile data charges from your carrier may apply when using the App.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, logos and original content, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Map data, transit data and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their terms. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

7. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services (including Google Firebase, Google Maps Platform, the Delhi Open Transit Data feed and OpenStreetMap). Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party services.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or that any information shown will be correct or current.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a missed bus, delay, inaccurate information, service interruption, or reliance on the App. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, change or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; the "Effective date" above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
